Viewing your search results

Search results can include assets such as entire videos or clips, depending the search you specified. Each result is represented by a document icon or a still-shot image (or keyframe), an asset title, and summary text.

If your search term is found in a text track, such as a transcript or closed-caption text, the search term is highlighted. Timecodes beside the text indicate the occurrence of the match.

When you click to play each search result, a separate asset viewer window is launched. From the video viewer, you can further search and navigate within each video. To return to the the original set of results, click on the main results page window.

From the Results page, the following actions are available to you: play, email, view details, and add to a playlist.

  2. For video, you can click on a timecode to begin playing from the query match. The video viewer page is launched and automatically begins to play your video or clip, either from the beginning or from the designated point in the timecode sequence.
