Viewing asset contents
Launch the asset viewer by clicking on the asset icon or the View Document
link or (for videos or clips) clicking the Play or View Details links on the
Results page. The video viewer can display content for an entire video or clip,
depending on your search criteria. You can peruse the content by clicking on
the navigation bar link.
The video viewer allows you to refine your search by
searching within the text track of the given video or clip to locate specific
segments. You can play from instances of where the search term is found in the
text.
To return to the query results,
click on the main Results page.
To play a selected asset
- To play an entire video or clip, click on play of the embedded player.
- To play a selected clip, select the Clips link, and click on the
Play Entire Clip link or the keyframe next to the clip you want to view.
- To play from a keyword match in text, select the Transcript
link, and click a timecode link adjacent to the text segment you want to play.
- To play from a keyframe within the storyboard, select the
Storyboard link, and click on a keyframe.
- To play an asset, click on the icon associated with the asset or the View Document link.
To refine a keyword search within
a video or clip
- Click on the Transcript link.
- Enter the text in the search box.
- Click on Search.
- Keyword matches appear highlighted in the text.
- Click on the next and previous arrows next to the search
bar to scroll to the next matching term.
To view clips within a video
- Select the Clips link to view the keyframes and clip titles.
- To play the clip, click on the keyframe or the Play Entire Clip link.
To
view text within a video
You can view available text or
transcripts, which might include closed-caption, teletext,
speech, speaker ID, audio classifications, and annotations.
Matching search terms are highlighted within the transcript.
To view the storyboard
- Click on the Storyboard link to browse the keyframes.
- To zoom in to view more keyframes in a particular segment,
click on the carat sign ^ to display more keyframes or select
a different number to display from the pulldown.
- To return to the original display of keyframes, click on zoom out.
